Increase in tariffs of KEGOC (Kazakhstan) postponed to July 1

/IRBIS, Apr 2, 01/ - The GSRW informs that Kazakhstan's Antimonopoly Agency has postponed consideration of the KEGOC's request to raise tariffs for electric energy transmission via KEGOC electric grids on 1st April this year due to changes in the existing calculation methods. These changes are aimed to include the technical loss factor in the tariff of the company. However, the Agency and the Energy Ministry took a decision to review KEGOC's technical loss factor and postponed the approval of the tariff to 1st July.
