As part of the update to its tariff policy, KazTransOil JSC has carried out
comprehensive work to revise the export tariff of the Kenkiyak–Atyrau main oil
pipeline operated by MunaiTas North-Western Pipeline Company LLP. As a
result, the tariff has been aligned with the market level and brought in line
with the transportation conditions applied by KazTransOil JSC.
Starting from May 19, 2025, the export tariff of MunaiTas NWTC is set at 11,300
KZT per ton per 1,000 km (excluding VAT), replacing the previous rate of 5,912
KZT. This change reflects the need to transition to a more economically viable
tariff-setting model.
It is important to note that the majority of MunaiTas’ transportation volumes
are directed to the domestic market. The new tariff applies exclusively to
export routes.
MunaiTas NWTC is a joint venture between KazTransOil JSC (51%) and CNPC
Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (49%).
