/KASE, May 29, 2025/ – By a decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan
Stock Exchange (KASE) dated May 28, 2025, KASE's internal document, the
revised "Rules for admission of securities to circulation in the "Unlisted
securities" sector" (the Rules), was approved, with effect as of May 29, 2025.
The revised Rules were developed in order to update the text of the document
and provide for the following:
- imposing on the initiator of admission – the broker, an additional obligation
to monitor the issuer's business continuity during the circulation of
securities and provide KASE with the necessary information;
- mandatory provision of securities' issue prospectus, taking into account all
changes and/or additions made to it (previously, this requirement was of a
recommendatory nature);
- grounds for raising the issue of excluding any securities from the "Unlisted
securities" sector have been supplemented, including those related to the
inclusion of the admission initiator or the issuer of securities and/or its
participants/shareholders, executives, and ultimate beneficiaries in the
sanctions lists.
In addition, editorial and clarifying amendments have been made to the Rules.
As of May 29, 2025, the Rules in their previous version are deemed to have lost
their force.
The revised Rules will be published on KASE website at
