KASE Index’s value decreased by 0.01% to 6,463.06 points on Friday. The largest number of transactions among the shares of the representative list were made with shares of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC – 5,009. The highest trading volume was also in shares of Halyk Bank – 240.5 million tenge. Shares of four issuers demonstrated growth – KazMunayGas National Company JSC (+0.94%), Air Astana JSC (+0.64%), NAC Kazatomprom JSC (+0.55%), and Bank CenterCredit JSC (+0.13%).

MONEY MARKET
The yield on one-day repo transactions with government securities (GS) (TONIA) increased by 3 b.p. and amounted to 15.65% per annum. The rate of borrowing tenge against US dollars for one day (SWAP-1D (USD)) rose by 12 b.p. and amounted to 11.43% per annum. The total volume of trading in one-day money market instruments amounted to 378.990 billion tenge.

CURRENCY MARKET
As of 17:00, the average weighted exchange rate of the US dollar to the tenge with a settlement date of “tomorrow” based on the results of trading on Friday was 544.95 tenge. The national currency depreciated by 2.87 tenge. The trading volume amounted to 255.592 million US dollars. A total of 709 transactions were concluded. The minimum price was 542.56 tenge per US dollar, the maximum – 545.95 tenge, and the price of the last transaction – 545.30 tenge.

The price of September Brent oil futures on the London ICE Futures exchange increased by 0.51% by 18:00 Almaty time on Friday and amounted to 69.53 US dollars per barrel.
